American; Essex County, Massachusetts. Oak and maple, dated 1690-1705. Joined chest with drawer. American; Essex County, Massachusetts. Oak and maple, painted in imitation of woo grain and marble, the late seventeenth century. This table continues the preference for bulbous turnings seen on (the previous) cupboards.
